<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool heat-generating devices and heat-receiving members which are always required to be most cooled while enabling the reduction of cost and the miniaturization of a device in size. <P>SOLUTION: A laser beam printer 1 is composed of: a plurality of ducts 24-26 which extend from a fan 22 toward a scanner unit 4, a process cartridge 3 and an electrical equipment part 21; and a partition plate 27 which changes the quantity of sent gas which passes through the prescribed ducts 24-26 among the ducts 24-26.
