<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and an electronic component enabling a user operating the apparatus from front to confirm a light-emitting state of a button without damaging designing properties. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply switch unit 10 includes a button 13 with a depressing surface 42, a substrate 17 with light-emitting elements 82, 83 mounted, and a ring-shaped circumference light-emitting part 63 exposed from one side surface side of a body part 3 of the electronic apparatus 1 in pinching a surrounding member 15. For this, light can be emitted in plane from the depressing surface 42 of the button 13, and further, in a ring shape from an outer periphery surface 69 of the circumference light-emitting part 63. Accordingly, a user operating the electronic apparatus 1 from the front can confirm a light-emitting state of the button 13 and the outer periphery surface 69. Here, the outer periphery surface 69 of the circumference light-emitting part 63 is easy to look at for the user operating the electronic apparatus 1 from the front, not jeopardizing the design properties.
