摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that image quality is degraded by performing magnification chromatic aberration correction when pixel data are not read from each of the entire pixels of an imaging element. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element (101); driving means (111, 112) for driving an imaging means so as to read electric signals by a plurality of read methods including at least an entire pixel read method and a thinning read method; an acquisition means (110) for acquiring the correction information of the magnification chromatic aberration of a lens (100); a correction coefficient computing part (110) for obtaining a coefficient corresponding to a first magnification chromatic aberration correction method in entire pixel read and obtaining a coefficient corresponding to a second magnification chromatic aberration correction method in thinning read; and a digital signal processing part (104) for correcting the electric signals using the obtained coefficients. In the second magnification chromatic aberration correction method, thinned and read electric signals are corrected on the basis of the positions in the imaging means of the pixels corresponding to the electric signals.
