A refrigeration device, wherein, when the operation of the device is in a stop state, a low pressure is constantly maintained to a level lower than a preset pressure to reduce leakage of a refrigerant.  A refrigeration device (1), wherein, in stopping the operation of a compressor (2), a low pressure refrigerant line is closed or restricted and a pump-down operation is performed, and when a low pressure lowers to a level lower than or equal to a preset pressure, the compressor (2) is stopped and a refrigerant discharge line is closed to maintain the low pressure.  The refrigeration device (1) is provided with a low-pressure monitoring means (11) which, when the compressor (2) is in a stop state, monitors the pressure of the low pressure, and if the low pressure rises to a level higher than or equal to the preset pressure during the monitoring, the low-pressure monitoring means (11) performs the pump-down operation to constantly maintain the low pressure to a level lower than or equal to the preset pressure.
