<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire adapted to improve load durability while ensuring satisfactory steering stability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises two carcass layers 4 and 5 in which their respective cord directions are intersected with each other, and these cord directions are individually set at 75 to 88°with respect to the circumferential direction of a tire. A first filler rubber 6 with a cord reinforcing layer 8 disposed on the outside in the width direction of the tire is included in a winding part of the carcass layers 4 and 5. A second filler rubber 7 is disposed on the outside of the winding part of these carcass layers 4 and 5 in the width direction of the tire. A winding end portion 5a of the carcass layer 5 lying outside of the tire in these two carcass layers 4 and 5 is wound up to a position overlying the outside of body parts of the carcass layers 4 and 5. The relationship among the height of the winding end portion 5a of the carcass layer 5 lying outside of the tire, the height of an upper end 7a of the second filler rubber 7, the height of an upper end 6a of the first filler rubber 6, and the height of an upper end 8a of the cord reinforcing layer 8 is specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
