<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a sprinkler head having a thermosensitive element hard to creep; a sprinkler head hardly causing malfunction; and a sprinkler head having a structure of strong impact resistance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This sprinkler head includes a head body 10 having an outlet 11 in its inside, a valve element 31 closing the outlet 11, a thermosensitive degradation mechanism 40 supporting the valve element 31, and a cylindrical frame part 20 provided below the head body 10. The thermosensitive degradation mechanism 40 has a C-ring (ring body) 50 locked to a groove part 24 formed on the internal circumference of the frame part 20 and energized to the inside direction, a cylindrical locking member holder 41 holding the C-ring 50 at the periphery, a piston 57 provided inside the locking member holder 41, having a tapered face in contact with the C-ring 50 and suppressing the intrusion of the C-ring 50 into the locking member holder 41, and a fusible alloy 56 provided at the lower end of the piston 57 and stored inside a cylinder 52.
