In an electronic apparatus and a cellular phone, sufficient flexibility is ensured and folding endurance of a core section is improved for practical application, since an air layer is arranged on the outer circumferential side of a core when a deforming section of an optical waveguide forming body for a flexible cable is deformed by being bent.  The deforming section is to be deformed by being bent by a shift (rotation or sliding shift) of a second body with respect to a first body.  Furthermore, light loss can be suppressed even when the optical waveguide forming body for the flexible cable is deformed by being bent by a relative shift of the second body to the first body, and high-speed and large-capacity transmission is achieved.
