<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grommet having improved sealability by preventing the deformation of a portion where a car body locking recess of the grommet is provided, even when a wire harness piercing through the grommet is suddenly bent. <P>SOLUTION: The grommet includes an inner cylinder 5 piercing so that electric wires of a wire harness can closely attached, and an outer cylinder 8 continuing to the inner cylinder 5 via an annular coupling portion 6 and equipped with an inclined wall 11. The grommet is configured so that, in the inclined wall, a flexure having changed inclination angle is provided on the outer diameter position equal to the inner diameter of the through-hole, the inclination angle of a large-diameter side is made small for the small-diameter side with the flexure sandwiched, a thick portion parallel to an axial line direction continues to the large-diameter end, a car body locking recess 10 is annularly provided on the outer circumferential surface between the large-diameter end of the inclined wall and the thick portion, a plurality of protrusions 15 provided like steps are radially provided at intervals from the small-diameter end to the large-diameter end on the inclined wall, and a bending stress absorbing portion 19 which is thinned by making recess of the inner circumferential surface is annularly formed on the small-diameter side of the inclined wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
