The method for coating prosthesis elements (P) that have a concave surface (7; 107; 207; 307; 407; 507; 607; 707; 807) and a corresponding convex counter surface (8; 108; 208; 308; 408; 508; 608; 708; 808), comprises: arranging in at least said concave surface shaped gripping means (R) for gripping coating means (9); coupling coating means (9) with said shaped gripping means (R), said coupling comprising coating said concave surface (7; 107; 207; 307; 407; 507; 607; 707; 807) with said coating means (9) temporarily being in a mouldable state obtaining moulded coating means (9); making said moulded coating means (9) solidify and adhere firmly to said shaped gripping means (R).
