The unit (1) has a starting unit (2) i.e. force transmission device, comprising an outlet (A) connected with a transmission (3), which is downstream to the outlet and comprises a transmission inlet (4) and a transmission outlet (5). The transmission has a speed and/or torque conversion device (6), which is downstream to the inlet during force flow from the transmission inlet to the transmission outlet. The conversion device is coupled with the transmission inlet. A speed adaptive damper (7) is provided at the transmission, and is directly connected with the transmission inlet.
