<p>Provided is a hydrogen cooled generator with three or more phases with improved layout. The generator comprises a casing main section (20) enclosing a stator (10) with windings (11); and a casing end section (21) for containing the ends of the windings (11). The generator is characterized by a toroidal duct (36) formed on the casing end section (21) and/or casing main section (20), having bottom (39) and side walls (37) common with a wall of the casing end section (21). Bushings (30), penetrate the common wall and are inclined towards the axis of the generator and are connected at a first end connected to the winding ends (11) while terminating in said duct (36) at a second end. Rectifier portions of a frequency adaptation unit (40) located in said duct (36) connect the second bushing end to collection rings thereby form a rectifier bridge between the multi phase of the generator and collection rings (35).</p> |
