<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid four-wheel drive car capable of making compatible both the protection of parts and an increase in turning performance when the temperature of a motor system is increased. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid four-wheel drive car comprises an engine and at least one motor. The engine drives the main drive wheels of the front and rear wheels of the car, and the motor drives the other auxiliary drive wheels of the front and rear wheels of the car. The hybrid four-wheel drive car further comprises a motor system temperature detection means detecting the temperatures of the motor and a motor control system and a part protection limit control means which, when the detected value of the temperature of the motor system is more than a part protection limit value, prohibits the operations of the motor other than a case when the motor assists turning to realize neutral steering and outputs a torque instruction to the motor only when the motor assists turning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
