<p>A fuel supply method and device for an internal combustion marine engine can avoid the entry of a large amount of hard particles into the engine to prevent seizure of a piston ring against a cylinder liner. A controller (9) outputs a switchover signal (4a) to a flow path switchover means (4) of a fuel supply line (5) based on detection signals (6a, 7a, 8a) from level detectors (6, 7, 8). By this, fuel is evacuated from fuel tanks (1, 2, 3) in sequence, and when the fuel levels inside the fuel tanks (1, 2) from which the fuel is being evacuated are decreased by the detection signals (6a, 7a) from the level detectors (6, 7) to levels lower than or equal to preset values, evacuation of the fuel from the next fuel tanks (2, 3) is started. This at least mixes the fuel from the fuel tanks (1, 2) and the fuel from the next fuel tanks (2, 3), which enables the fuel with decreased concentration of hard particles to be supplied into each cylinder (11) of the engine (10).</p> |
