THE OMNIDIRECTIONAL PANORAMA MONITOR

PURPOSE: An omni-directional super panorama monitoring device is provided to selectively perform an omni-directional function and visible range expansion on a vertical plane according to various monitoring circumstances. CONSTITUTION: After images coming over right/left sides based on a base line of overlapped parts of images, which are taken by 3 to 6 monitoring cameras, are deleted, original images remain. The respective images are connected together to generate a panorama image. The panoramic image is stored in a digital recording storage device. The panoramic image is displayed through a monitor. Base angles of view of the monitoring cameras change according to size of a lens. Maximum angle views and minimum angle views are differentiated according to a focal distance.
