PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for producing cover sheet are provided to produce cover sheet having various material quickly and cleanly. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for producing a cover sheet has an insertion member(110) which is adhesive to attach to front or back cover of note book or book. The insertion member is made of thermoplastic resin sheet. An inner paper(120) is made of an expandable fiber sheet and attached to the girth of both ends by heat fusion. The inner paper is adhesive with outside of one side of front and back cover of book. An outer paper(130) is attached at the outside of the inner paper by adhesive. The outer paper is adhesive by being folded at the girth of inside of the inner paper.
