PURPOSE: A tensile test apparatus and a method thereof are provided to insert a handing arm into a handing groove to enable the hanging arm to pull a connector when a head moves, thereby minimizing deformation of the connector. CONSTITUTION: The first head(30) and the second head(40) move each other. A pair of fixing holders(32) fixe the first connector(20). A pair of chucks(42) fixes the second connector(24). A hanging arm is included in at least one side of the fixing holders or the chucks. The hanging arm is hung on a hanging groove.
