<p>The invention relates to a method for determining the phosphorus content of an aqueous sample, particularly a waste water sample, wherein the sample is subjected to thermal-oxidative digestion, and the orthophosphate content of the digested sample is photometrically determined in an aqueous analysis solution, wherein the thermal digestion process is performed in a single stage by catalyst-free combustion of the sample as batch digestion in a furnace, the developing combustion gas is fed in a carrier gas flow to the furnace, and the combustion/carrier gas flow is cooled in order to obtain the aqueous analysis solution as a condensate thereof.</p> |
