PURPOSE: An image processor is provided to make the return of a sheet stop when holding an access cover without a sensor. CONSTITUTION: An image processor comprises a convey member, drive units(53,54), an access cover(6) and drive transitions(58,61). The conveying member sends back a sheet through the image processor. The drive units transfer the driving force to the conveying member. The access cover opens a part of the carrier path of the sheet. The drive transition is connected with the opening and shutting of the access cover. The drive transition transmits or blocks the driving force of the drive units.
