PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to reduce power consumption of a data driver by reducing the swing width of a data output signal outputted to a data line according to the polarity of a data signal by 1/2. CONSTITUTION: A gate driver supplies a scan signal to gate lines successively. A data driver supplies a positive data signal or negative data signal to the data lines. A timing controller drives the gate driver and the data driver. A buffer unit is equipped in the data driver and is comprised of a first amplifier(161) and a second amplifier(163). The maximum swing widths of the first and second output signals outputted from the first and second amplifiers are equal. A selector(165) selects the first and second output signals outputted from the first and second amplifiers.
