<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation regulator for regulating the rotation of a member to be rotated, in the member to be rotated journaled turnably to a shaft member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rotation regulator 3 regulates the rotation of a feed core 608, in the member to be rotated (feed core 608) journaled turnably to the first shaft member 34, and the feed core 608 has the cylindrical feed core 608 journaled to the first shaft member 34, and a tape member (ink ribbon 610) wound onto the feed core 608 to be pulled and for rotating, by the pulling, the feed core 608 with respect to the first shaft member 34, and is provided with an abutting member (rotation regulating member 301) abutting on a face of the ink ribbon 610 wound onto the feed core 608 at a prescribed pressing force.
