<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cupola efficiently melting a charged object by combustion flame of a combustion burner. <P>SOLUTION: The gas cupola has: a furnace body 1 having a melting chamber 10 melting the charged object 2 using metal as base material and a molten metal outlet 11 discharging metal melted in the melting chamber 10; and a plurality of the combustion burners 4 blasting combustion flame 41 on the charged object 2 in the melting chamber 10 and melting the charged object 2 of the meting chamber 10. In a sectional view of cutting the furnace body 1 along a horizontal direction, each combustion burner 4 forms a hollow molten part 42 comprising a hollow shape in the charged object of the melting chamber 10 by the combustion flame 41 blasted from each combustion burner 4. The combustion burners 4 are disposed such that the hollow molten parts 42 overlap, and during melting of the charged object 2, each hollow molten part 42 is communicated with the molten metal outlet 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
