<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein when output data is outputted from a computer to a printer, while the printer is preparing correction data, printing is not executed by appropriate correction data. <P>SOLUTION: A status of a printer 1 is confirmed in step S51; and if calibration is in progress, the printer is put in a standby state until the finish of the calibration in a step S56.
