PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for obtaining an accumulated total amount of consumed consumables in a device based on information of consumables supplied from the device.

SOLUTION: The information collection device includes: a network interface part which receives consumable information from a plurality of devices connected thereto through a network; a database access part which accesses a database storing the consumable information of the devices; and a control part which controls the network interface part and the database access part. The database access part acquires a value of a device ID field, a value of a previous quantity field, and a value of a total field from the database. The control part stores, when a difference obtained by subtracting the value of the previous quantity field from the number of consumed consumables received from the device is a negative value, the number of consumed consumables in the previous quantity field, and maintains the value of the total field without update.
