NOVEL VACCINE AGAINST MASTITIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a novel vaccine against mastitis, and more concretely to provide a novel vaccine against mastitis that efficiently induces humoral and cellular transmucosal immunoresponse including production of an IgA antibody as the main one. SOLUTION: A liposome containing a membrane-fusogenic lipid (methylglytarylated polyglycidol) is employed as a vaccine carrier to solve the problem. The vaccine against mastitis includes a vaccine carrier constituted of the liposome composed of the methylglytarylated polyglycidol and an immunogen incorporated thereinto.
