PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting a circulation target cell within an anticoagulation processing whole blood sample. SOLUTION: This method includes a process of synthesizing a blood sample with one or a plurality of label agents so that a target cell can be identified from other cells in the blood sample. The blood sample and capacity occupying separator float are inserted into a transparent, or semi-transparent, flexible sample tube. The separator float includes a defined specific gravity and a cross-sectional diameter which is smaller than the inside diameter of the sample tube during extension. The separator float includes a hard body portion and a tube support member. The separator float forms a sidewall and one or a plurality of analysis regions. Centrifugal force is applied to the blood sample and separator float in the sample tube, and all target cells existing in the blood samples are localized in the analysis regions by the centrifugal force. Thereafter, the blood samples existing in the analysis regions are inspected, and identification is made whether the target cell exists. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
