PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device for a vehicle capable of sufficiently securing the traveling performance of the vehicle without spoiling the comfortability of air conditioning. SOLUTION: The air conditioning device for the vehicle is provided with a high voltage battery 38 storing electric power by a generator 37, a heater core 2 performing heat exchange between warm water and air blown into a cabin, an electric heater 22 heating the warm water, a pump 31 circulating the warm water, a motor-driven compressor 5 compressing a coolant, a radiator 6, a cooling means S having a pressure reducer 7 and an evaporator 4, an air conditioning control device 40 controlling the electric heater 22 and the motor-driven compressor 5 based on a target water temperature TWO and a target blow-off temperature after heat exchange TEO, respectively, and a vehicle side control device 50 setting air conditioner permission electric power ACW. The air conditioning control device 40 assigns available electric power to the electric heater 22 and the motor-driven compressor 5 within the air conditioner permission electric power ACW commanded by the vehicle side control device 50.
