The method involves sending electromagnetic waves to surrounding of a vehicle using a transmission unit (SE). A part of the sent electromagnetic waves is received by a receiving unit (EE). A characteristic concerning to mist in the surrounding of the vehicle is determined based on the received electromagnetic waves. An adjusting signal (SS) for an anti-dazzle device (AV) is produced for controlling a vehicle light (FB) depending on the characteristic. A high beam or a dipped beam of the vehicle light is automatic switched depending on the characteristic. An independent claim is also included for a system for controlling a vehicle light of a vehicle.
