MULTILAYER THERMAL BARRIER COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal barrier coating of an yttria base and a field of guards from an attack of a calcia-alumina-magnesia silicate (CMAS).

SOLUTION: A component (1) is a part having a thermal barrier coating (2-6) on the surface and the thermal barrier coating contains at least one of a layer (3) containing zirconia chemically stabilized and provides a protective layer (4) which is neighboured at least indirectively to the layer (3) containing zirconia chemically stabilized not reacted to an environmental pollutant composition containing an oxide of calcium and nor reacted to a material of the layer (3) containing the chemically stabilized zirconia and/or a penetration band (5) on the side facing every side. The method of producing the parts described above and the use for protecting the CMAS in a specified system for coating a protecting layer are provided.
