<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely combine devices storing content, in a clustered storage system which stores content in a plurality of devices in a redundant manner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a node device 100 of the clustered storage system which stores content in a plurality of device 110 in a redundant manner, layout information 131 is created which is to be referred in determining the devices to which data are written, and a basket ID is created using a hash value which is calculated using a content key (K) of the desired content.
