<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy saving and reliability while securing ice crushing capacity in a device equipped with an ice crusher. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device equipped with an ice crusher is equipped with: the ice crusher crushing ice by normally rotating a rotating blade and holding block ice in between with a fixed blade; a drive unit driving the rotating blade; a controller controlling the drive unit; and a detection means for detecting a constraint state of the drive unit. The controller makes control such that the rotating blade is normally rotated after reversely rotating it when a constraint state of the drive unit is detected by the detection means, the control from reverse rotation to normal rotation is repeatedly made, and the control is made such that an operation of the drive unit is stopped when the number of repeated times exceeds a predetermined number of times.
