<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled electrode improved in safety by preventing the occurrence of an internal short-circuit due to heat shrinkage or peeling of a separator, and to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery and a method of manufacturing the rolled electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The rolled electrode 20 comprises a belt-like positive electrode 21 and a belt-like negative electrode 22 and two belt-like separators 23 and 24. The two separators are rolled in the state of piling with the positive electrode and the negative electrode so that an intermediate part of the separators in the longitudinal direction are interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. Two starting ends 23S and 24S of the two separators are arranged to be extended from the intermediate part to positions, in which the separators are not interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and face each other in free ends thereof. Terminal ends 23E and 24E of the two separators are arranged to be extended from the intermediate part to positions, in which the separators are not interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and fixed to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
