<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container equipped with a detector, where inflow of bubbles into the detector is restrained or prevented. <P>SOLUTION: Piercing is performed to wall faces 1a, 370w1 and 370w2 of an ink cartridge 1 respectively, and a tube 910 is directly connected to the inlet 401 of a vertical communication path 400 through the holes formed by the piercing. The other end of the tube 910 is connected to a large-capacity ink tank.
