<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment and a printing method in which the generation of wrinkles in an ink film can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This printing method has a medium preparing process for preparing a recording medium 50 having a depressed part 52b which is formed by being depressed from a principal surface 52a and extends in the direction indicated by arrow directions D3 and D4, a printing process for printing an ink component on the principal surface 52a by conveying the recording medium 50 to a direction indicated by the arrow direction D3, and fusing the ink film 60 in a state of being pushed against the principal surface 52a of the recording medium 50 along a direction indicated by the arrow directions D1 and D2 with a thermal head 10 and a separating process for separating the ink film 60 from the recording medium 50 going through the printing process in a state that the angle between the intersection of the principal surface 52a and the inner peripheral surface of the depressed part 52b and the direction indicated by the arrow directions D3 and D4 is set to be smaller than ±45°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
