The device (200) has a piston (207) in constant connection with a door wing (12) such that the piston is moved by the wing during movement of the wing in a movement direction and electrorheological fluid (203) inside a portion of a container (201) is moved and/or recycled. An electric coil (206) produces an electrical field during electrical excitation. The coil is attached at the container or formed at the container such that the electrical field causes increase of viscosity of the fluid, so that the movement of the piston and of the wing in the movement direction is controlled. An independent claim is also included for a door system comprising a door wing and a device for influencing a movement speed of the door wing. |
