<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an (oxy)nitride phosphor material, a white-colored light-emitting element containing the same and a method for producing the phosphor material. <P>SOLUTION: This oxynitride phosphor material is expressed by chemical formula 1 [wherein, M is an alkaline earth metal, 0<x<1, 1.8<a<2.2, 4.5<b<5.5, 0≤c<8, 0<d≤8, and 0<c+d≤8].
