PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable display which provides tourists joining in an archaeological tour with a virtual image superimposed on a real image changing in real time to show as if people walking around archaeological sites are wearing ancient costume. SOLUTION: The portable display is communicably connected to a server computer having a database which stores costume content and restored archaeological site content. The portable display includes: an imaging means for capturing real landscapes in real time; a positioning means to obtain a position and a direction; a data transmitting means to transmit the captured image and positioning data to the server computer; an image receiving means which receives a display image generated by superimposing a real-time composite image composed of content retrieved from the database and a moving object in the captured image, on the captured image; an image output means to display the display image.
