<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a route request message in an on-demand routing protocol. <P>SOLUTION: A system and method includes: a step of finding a route between a transmitting node and a destination node in a wireless network and setting an intermediate response flag of a route request message by the transmitting node; a step of disseminating the route request message to the wireless network; and a step of replying by a route reply message to the route request message by a first intermediate node having an effective route to the destination node. The system and method that finds the best route when a route reply message becomes a first route reply message further includes: a step of selecting the best route between the destination node and the transmitting node by the destination node based on the received accumulation metric in the route request message received by the destination node; a step of creating a further route reply message; and a step of unicasting the further route reply message to the transmitting node. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
