<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for connecting endoscope cords which allows ensured fixation of a grounding cable to a connecting member between a connector and a cord of an endoscope. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A universal cord 15 which is drawn out of an operation section of the body of an endoscope, is rotatably connected to a relay case 17 integrated with a connector, wherein a fixation cylinder 30 is fixed to a case body 22 of the relay case 17; a connection cylinder 31 is rotatably connected to the fixation cylinder 30; and a metal net 28 is fixed to the connection cylinder 31 to compose the universal cord 15. In the connection cylinder 31, a through-hole 37 is formed to penetrate from the outer circumferential surface to the inner circumferential surface, and an grounding cable 36 which is passed through the through-hole 37 from the inner circumferential surface, is soldered to the outer circumferential surface of the connection cylinder 31.
