The radial fan unit (10) has an electric motor (12), by which a shaft (14) runs. A radial fan (20) is attached, particularly on each side of the shaft. The radial fan unit is held in a fan housing (16), which is mounted particularly at a side wall of a bus, and is formed in a saucer-shaped manner. The fan housing is formed in a two-piece manner, and an air outlet housing (34) of the fan housing is fastened to a primary housing (32) in a removable manner.
