FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hand tool and is meant for removing the retaining ring from valve device. Tool has four claw-type gripping devices made with the possibility of being located about the axis. Drive mechanism retains gripping devices in a movable manner in order to move them from position one to position three. Gripping devices when being in position one have at least one gripping top supported from the retaining ring. Gripping devices when being moved to position two have at least one gripping top moved radially inwards in the direction to valve device axis and vertical upwards relative to the first position in order to be engaged with retaining ring and to remove it from valve device. In position three, gripping tops of gripping devices are moved radially outwards relative to position two in order to remove retaining ring from the gripping device. ^ EFFECT: removing the retaining ring without damaging the valve. ^ 7 cl, 1 dwg |
