<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which provides a uniform flux estimation response of various kinds of permanent magnet type synchronous motor in all speed ranges. <P>SOLUTION: A controller of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor is provided with: a means for calculating the flux estimate of a permanent magnet type synchronous motor 1 by using a flux observer 21; a speed estimator 23 for estimating the speed of the motor 1 by using the flux estimate; and a magnetic pole position calculator 24 for estimating the magnetic pole position. A current estimate and a flux estimate are calculated, respectively, by a flux observer 21, from the current detection value, the voltage command value, the flux estimate and the speed estimate of the motor 1, and from the product of the difference between the current estimate and the current detection value and the observer gain, and the observer gain is calculated by an observer gain setter 25 by using a first natural angular frequency in the characteristic equation of transfer function from the actual current value to the current estimate, a second natural angular frequency in the characteristic equation of transfer function from the actual flux value to the flux estimate, and the speed estimate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
