PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection apparatus capable of effectively preventing external leakage of X-rays. SOLUTION: The X-ray inspection apparatus 1 comprises shield boxes 2, 3, an X-ray irradiating section and an X-ray detecting section disposed in the shield boxes 2, 3, a belt conveyor unit 8 transferring an object 100 so that the object 100 passes through an X-ray irradiation path 60 between the X-ray irradiating section and the X-ray detecting section, and an X-ray shielding member 19 attached to the belt conveyor unit 8 under the X-ray irradiating section to surround part of the X-ray irradiation path 60 related to an X-ray irradiating direction.
