PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive rubber composition suitable for adhesion of a rubber and a wire cord using a vulcanization accelerator substituted for conventional DZ as a vulcanization accelerator. SOLUTION: The adhesive rubber composition contains 100 pts.wt. of a rubber, 0.1-0.3 pt.wt. of an organic acid cobalt salt as a cobalt content, 0.1-3 pts.wt. of disodium hexamethylene bis-thiosulfate 2 hydrates, 0.3-1.5 pts.wt. of a vulcanization accelerator NS, 0.5-5 pts.wt. of at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a resorcinol condensation product, a modified resorcinol condensation product and a cresol resin, and 0.5-5 pts.wt. of a partial condensation product of hexamethylolmelamine pentamethyl ether and/or a partial condensation product of hexamethoxymethylolmelamine.
