<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure fuel pump provided with a radial bearing portion having high lubricity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This high-pressure fuel pump 1 includes a pump shaft 2 rotatively driven by the drive shaft 81 of an engine 8, a cylinder 42, a plunger 41, and a pressurizing chamber 43 sectionally formed by the cylinder 42 and plunger 41. The pump shaft 2 has a long pump shaft body 21 rotatively driven by the drive shaft 81 of the engine 8, and a cam portion 22 and a polygon ring 23 respectively driven by the rotation of the pump shaft body 21 and reciprocating the plunger 41. The radial bearing portion 33 with which the outer peripheral surface of the pump shaft body 21 is made to slidably contact and radially supporting the pump shaft body 21 is formed in a housing 3.
