FIELD: packing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: device comprises a rotor fixed on a horizontal shaft; the rotor is fitted by radial grips kinematically connected to the rotor shaft by means of additional shafts parallel to the rotor shaft and equipped by a periodical rotation drive and by means of driven shafts with grips. The driven shafts with grips are set perpendicular to the rotor shaft and movably connected to the additional shafts. The device comprises also an item feeder, a support for the packages and a pole, a spacer feeder and grips for the spacers. Flexible connection of each of the driven shafts to the respective additional shaft is fitted by non-round tooth gear. The driving non-round tooth gear is movably coupled to the additional shaft and the driven one is rigidly fixed on the driven shaft. ^ EFFECT: improved layering quality and device efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 19 dwg
