PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device such as a guide light capable of coping with even a case where addition/elimination of a mounted apparatus is carried out.

SOLUTION: This display device 100 is provided with: a box type appliance body 3 having an information display part displaying information; and a decorative panel 16 mounted to the appliance body 3 to allow the information displayed on the information display part to be viewed from the outside, and provided with a hole-like window 17. The appliance body 3 houses a lighting control part controlling the lighting of a light source illuminating the information display part and outputting a signal representing the check result of whether or not the light source is lit by power from a power source in emergency. The display device 100 is also provided with a mounting part 7 housing the mounted apparatus equipped with a state display part displaying in response to a signal output from the lighting control part, and mounted to the window 17 of the decorative panel 16 to allow the state display part provided for the housed mounted apparatus to be viewed.
