PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade for a mower, solving the conventional problem that, a mower's rotary cutting blade is tightendly fitted as a knife plate via a fitting bolt on the lower side of the tip of a mowing arm; however, in this mode, the head of the fitting bolt is made in contact with and slides on the mowing ground, pebbles, stumps, etc., often leading to the abrasion and damage of the bolts. SOLUTION: The cutting blade for a mower includes a knife plate 1-fitting part 4 provided with a fitting hole 3 to be threaded with a fitting bolt 6. A projection 2 projected downward is formed on the outer circumference of the fitting bolt 3, and the head 7 of the fitting bolt 6 is received on the fitting part 4 and tight fitted. In this mode, as the head 7 of the bolt is situated in the rear of the rotation of the projection part 7 when the knife plate 1 mows and rotates, whereby the durability of the fitting bolt 6 is improved due to its reduced abrasion and damage attributable to its ground butting or the like.
