摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise pressure rising speed in a back pressure chamber in a low frequency range of piston speed by highly accurately regulating displacement of a bulkhead object partitioning the back pressure chamber arranged at a back pressure side of a damping valve, in a damping-force adjusting structure of a hydraulic damper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The damping-force adjusting structure of a hydraulic damper 10 is provided with a back pressure chamber 63 arranged at the back pressure side of the damping valve 60 and communicating with a pressurized one oil chamber 12A through an orifice 62A. The back pressure chamber 63 is closed by the bulkhead object 70 consisting of a leaf spring 71. The outer periphery of the leaf spring 71 of the bulkhead object 70 is seated on a spring seat surface 68A of a stopper 65. The structure is further provided with a spring deflection regulating surface 68B for regulating the deflection of the leaf spring 71 which undergoes deflection when being pushed by a pressure of the back pressure chamber 63.
