发明名称 MAGNETIC BEARING CIRCUIT
摘要 PURPOSE: To eliminate necessity of a regenerative power source unit, and to control floating of a rotor associated with a magnetic bearing over an extremely wide range by using an amplifier and directly powering the switching amplifier by a power source. CONSTITUTION: A separate electric link is arranged between the DC output of a power source unit 3 and a switching amplifier 7. Output from a DC motor 5 is passed through a three-phase rectifier 6 and the three-phase rectifier 6 rectifies the output of the DC motor 5 to DC feed. The rectified DC feed is supplied to the switching amplifier 7. Thereby, an individual regenerative power source unit is no more required. The output of the amplifier 7 is passed through the levitation coils of a magnetic bearing 8. By current supply to these coils, a strong magnetic field is formed which retains a rotor at a certain position in these coils by acting on a turbo-molecular vacuum pump arranged in these coils and depending on the magnitude of current flowing through these coils.
