<p>The invention relates to a method and a node at an entry point of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) for adapting a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message. The invention also relates to an IMS comprising the node and executing the method. The node comprises a port for receiving the SIP message from a client and a processor for executing a first function for detecting a client type, using information from the SIP message and for executing a second function for adapting the SIP message for the IMS, by adding an end point capability, such as feature tags and option tags, to the SIP message according to rules relative to the client type.</p> |
